About Danny Morgan

Danny Morgan was born and raised in Prague, Oklahoma. He graduated from Prague High School and continued his education at Central State University in Edmond where he received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Following graduation he went to work in the oilfield as a truck driver and field supervisor. His efforts led him to his current position as President of his family-owned company Morgan Well Service.

Leader Morgan has held many distinguished positions, previously serving as Mayor of Prague, board member of the Prague Municipal Hospital and Chairman of the Lincoln County Excise Board. He has also served his community as a committee Vice-Chairman of the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America and past board member of the Girl Scouts of America Redlands Council. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma - Class XVII.

Leader Morgan was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2002 and in 2006 was chosen to serve as the Democratic Leader of the Oklahoma House Democratic Caucus. For the 52nd Legislature he will continue in the capacity of Democratic Leader, and will serve on the Appropriations and Budget Committee, the Energy and Utility Regulation Committee, and the Business and Economic Development Committee.

Danny was married to the late Debbie (Hicks) for 25 years and together they have two children, Zachary and Danielle. Danny enjoys spending time with his children and watching them play on their respective basketball teams, and he also enjoys running the family business. In his free time Leader Morgan is a private pilot and enjoys flying for recreation.
